The project aimed to strengthen the well-being of non-local female students at the University of Cuenca who live alone, through a program that addresses emotional challenges, promotes healthy habits, and fosters cultural integration within the community.

Therefore, the non-local students carried out different activities such as
TOURIST ROUTES
Through two unique tourist circuits, the non-local students explored and discovered the beauty of Cuenca’s urban nature and cultural richness.
These experiences allowed them to uncover iconic spots and local traditions, become familiar with the city, understand its essence, and learn the best ways to get around their new environment.
It was an opportunity to connect with the city they now call home.
MINDFUL EATING
Through hands-on workshops, they learned to prepare healthy and delicious meals adapted to their lifestyle.They also learned practical tools to improve their nutrition and develop mindful habits that will enhance their overall well-being.
MINDFULNESS WORKSHOP
In the mindfulness workshop, they learned practical techniques to manage stress, improve concentration, and fully experience the present moment.
strengthening their emotional and mental well-being in a space of support and reflection.
GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE
In the workshop on gender-based violence and support networks, with the valuable participation of the FAVIFE Foundation, the students explored tools to identify and confront situations of gender-based violence.
They also learned about the available support networks and how to access them.
This space sought to empower them, promote mutual respect, and build a more supportive and safer community for all.
