Presentation of results to the Commission of Historical and Heritage Areas 🏛️✨

We are pleased to share that the research groups Ciudad Patrimonio Mundial (CPM) and PREIT-tour from the University of Cuenca 🎓 presented the results of their project:

“Balance between Tourism and Heritage: Glocal Indicators for Urban Sustainability in the Historic Center of Cuenca.”

This project was the winner of the 21st Internal Call of VIUC 🏆 and was presented to the Commission of Historical and Heritage Areas of the city of Cuenca.

During the presentation, the team explained the full methodology 📚, starting from a global literature review, followed by participatory, qualitative, and quantitative methods, leading to a practical proposal of indicators 📈. These indicators are designed to measure the balance between tourism and cultural heritage in the city.
